We often get asked: how many paper cushion pads should we order at one time?
Before we confirm a quantity, we always look at two points: shelf life and transportation cost.
“Shelf life”
Paper cushion pads stay in their best condition for about three years.
Within this period, the paper, glue and printing are all stable, so we don’t suggest storing more than three years of stock in the warehouse.
Transportation Cost
In most projects, transportation costs are around 25%–35% of the total pad cost.
Every shipment adds freight, local handling and customs fees, so one slightly larger shipment is usually cheaper per pad than many small shipments.
Final words
Based on these two points, we usually suggest ordering at least half a year’s demand in one batch, and up to about one year’s quantity.

Hello, thank you for those nice explanatory posts, which makes a nice difference from other sellers who don't explain very much and can be quite abrupt. l appreciate the time and effort you put in writing this information out. Is there a minimum order of pads? This is something l couldn't find anywhere, even though l haven't read the whole website yet. l have sent an enquiery for 50 and 100 of 2 different sized pads, but am not sure if that is worth your while? Thank you for answering, someone else may want to know what the minimum order is (either in pad numbers or in total cost ) Alexandra
